Last night we got to go to the hospital to meet the beautiful new baby of our dear friends, the Kottkes. Robin and Steven live in the unit below us and to say that we have leaned on them this past year is the understatement of the universe. They cleaned our house and helped me pack the night before Lily was born when the date got changed at the last minute and Joe was stuck at work. They have spent countless hours watching Lily so that Joe and I can have time together alone. They even babysat two days before their little beauty was born. Robin is the kind of friend that you call at 4 in the morning if you have a problem. They have been so good to us.
And now they have a tiny, beautiful daughter of their own. And I would like to point out that Robin delivered this baby with no pain medication and labored for 10 hours! She is superwoman!!!!
Robin and Steven- whatever you need- we're just one flight up. Aren't we all so lucky?
Welcome Baby Kottke! We can't wait to watch you grow up.
